One simple film up to 90 seconds from up to 30 minutes of organized footage and your outline. Editing, color, basic audio, one aspect ratio and two revision rounds. Filming quoted separately.
Predictable editing. A continuing creative relationship. Start with one paid trial month, then an optional three-month agreement, paid monthly in advance.
Filming, rentals, talent, locations, licensing and travel are quoted separately and pre-funded. A planned shoot can build a footage bank for your monthly films.
All source angles count toward footage limits. Two consolidated revision rounds per film. Additional formats, revisions, animation and extensive repair are quoted separately. USD; scope agreed before work begins.
Story Post — $1,500/month
One film up to three minutes from up to 60 minutes of organized footage, a supplied transcript and approved outline. Editing, color, basic audio, one aspect ratio and two revision rounds.
Series Post — $2,400/month
Two films up to two minutes each from up to 90 minutes of footage total, with an established format and outlines. Editing, color, basic audio, one aspect ratio and two revision rounds.
Small Film
From $950
One 30–60 second film. One location, up to two hours solo filming, editing, color and basic audio. Two consolidated revision rounds.
Commissioned Films
Story-led films for musicians, churches, creators and organizations. Prices in USD; final scope agreed before booking.
Commissioned Short
From $2,200
One 1–3 minute film. One location, up to four hours with both founders. Concept, shot plan and post-production. Two consolidated revision rounds.
Performance Music Video
From $3,200
One music video up to four minutes. One location, up to six hours with both founders. Concept, storyboard and post-production. Two revision rounds. Client supplies a cleared track.
Production Only
Four-hour shoot — from $1,100. Both founders, existing kit and up to three combined hours of preparation. Editing quoted separately.
Six-hour shoot — from $1,600. Both founders, existing kit and up to four combined hours of preparation. Rentals and outside costs additional.
Built Around Your Story
Music videos, short documentaries, artist profiles, church films and narrative collaborations. We shape the approach around the story, audience and creative ambition.
Photography
From $750. Two hours, one location and 15 finished images. Portraits, artist imagery and purposeful photography, with scope agreed in advance.

Project fees: 50% to book and 50% before final delivery. Rentals, talent, crew, locations, licensing, travel and lodging are quoted separately and funded before expenses are incurred.
Original Productions
We are building toward a slate of original short films, features and series. Commissioned work and continuing production relationships support that long-term creative independence.

Where’s The Lighter? Studios is an independent film studio based in Portland, Oregon. We develop emotionally driven work through story, purposeful images and creative collaboration. Available across the PNW, and beyond when travel and lodging are covered. Production is scheduled on mutually available weekends.
